FILM TRAILER- The conjuring

Genre  

The genre of this film is horror. I know it is horror film because in this film it has haunted houses and usually ends with a death.
Plot of the story- Narrative:  Carolyn and Roger Perron  has moved into an old farmhouse in Harrisville, Rhode Island with their five daughters, Andrea, Nancy, Christine, Cindy and April. After they accidentally discover a boarded up door and stairwell down to the cellar, strange things start occurring. Such as the clocks in the house always stopping at 3:07 am, something invisible yanking on Christine's legs as she sleeps at night, and little April having conversations with a boy no one else sees. 
Setting: This film takes place a in a old farmhouse in Harrisville. 
Iconography: In horror films you normally see blood, murders, guts, haunted house, violence etc.

Genre:The genre of this film is comedy/ romantic. I know its a comedy because its too entertain the audience and to make the audience laugh. 

Plot of the story: Norbit Albert Rice and Kate Thomas  were best friends as children in an orphanage owned by their father figure, Mr.Wong, but were separated when Kate was adopted. While being bullied by twins in the orphanage, Norbit is saved by Rasputia Latimore, a fat, self-centered, overbearing, vain girl who makes Norbit her boyfriend and protects him from other kids. As they grow up, Rasputia dominates every aspect of Norbit's life. 
It came out on February 9th 2007  
Setting; The setting of this film is in the streets and in a house. 
Iconography: In comedy films you usually see funny things, families, fat people and couples.

Genre: The genre of this film is action. I know its a action film because it has lots of fighting scene.
Plot of the story: Cominic Cobb is an industrial spy who instead of breaking into a person's home, office, or even computer, gets the information he needs by getting into the person's mind through their dreams. Cobb is also a fugitive who misses his children. Someone approaches Cobb and wants to hire him but instead of getting information out, the man wants Cobb to implant something, a process called 'inception', which is not easy to do.

The title of the game is Mario kart in bold font to stand out and to make people buy it. It has a big picture of the wheel with a logo saying wii. The genre of Mario kart is racing.

Institution:

The game is produced by Hideki Konno. The Mario kart was produced for wii.

Audience:

The audience of this game looks like it is aimed at male and females. Mainly aimed at males as males are into racing games. It could be aimed at different ranges of ages as well as families. It is is also good advert because you can see people playing the game with the wheel so the audience can see the new equipment and how much fun people are having when playing the game.


Representation:

People will buy it with their parents. They will persuade there mum or dad to buy the game because the might of caught there eye.

Summer Homework Information on Just dance 3:Just Dance 3 is a music video game released on the Wii. It is part of the Just dance video game series published by Ubisoft originally on the wii. Just Dance 3 was announced shortly after the release of Just Dance 2 and was released on October 7, 2011 in North America and October 11, 2011 in Australia and Europe. Ubisoft released Just Dance 4 in October 2012. Just Dance 3 features a Dance Crew mode which allows 4 players to dance together, each with their own unique choreography, as well as playlists that group songs into different categories. Just danced made adverts on TVs, Magazines, Youtube etc. The games includes 32 to songs to choose from when playing the game. Target Audience: Target audience is aimed at Teenagers/kids aged 10-16 and Families. How many copies were sold? They sold Over 7 million copies of Just dance 3. Genre: Rhythm Platform: Wii, PlayStation 3, XBOX 360

Sherlock Homes Trailer

The Genre of the trailer Sherlock homes is Crime, Detective fiction and Drama I can tell because it has lots of murdering and action. The trailer Sherlock homes is aimed for adults/teenagers, aimed for boys and girls also aimed for ages 16-30. You could see this trailer on TV, BBC 1, DVD and ITV.

Why I chose media?

I chose media as an option because it sounded fun and interesting. I also had a friend who done media last year and she told me good things about media, so I picked it.  Also my friend done a little clip for media and it looked amazing, so I thought I should choose this year. I happen to like taking and editing photos. I saw front covers of magazines around the school what the media students created it looked brilliant and fun to try out myself. In media studies I’m hoping to achieve the best grade I can. I’m also good with working in a group and in media studies I will get lots of opportunities to work with others.

I am looking forward to creating my own video/clips to all the teens out there. I Hope to achieve a good grade. Im also creative in many ways.
